Respect for rights
Cinevex is a discovery and streaming guide. Metadata, images, user contributions, links and any embedded material can still raise copyright issues. We do not treat an external upload or catalogue listing as proof of rights. If you own relevant rights or represent the owner, send a specific complaint using the contact below.
What to include in a takedown notice
Identify the copyrighted work and the right you represent. Give the exact Cinevex URL and identify the particular image, text, player or link at issue. Include your full name, postal address, telephone number, email and physical or electronic signature. Explain your good-faith belief that the challenged use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law. Confirm that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury where required for a DMCA notice, that you are authorised to act for the rights holder. Include supporting evidence or the original work’s location when available.
Review and action
We review sufficiently specific notices promptly, may ask for missing information and may remove or disable the identified material or link while investigating. A complaint is not proof of infringement. We may notify the contributor and share the notice information needed to assess or respond to the claim, subject to applicable law. We may restrict repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
If your material was removed
Contact us with the affected URL, the removal reference and the reason you believe the action was mistaken. Supply evidence of permission or another legal basis. Do not simply repost removed material. If the US DMCA counter-notice procedure applies, a counter-notice requires your signature; identification of the removed material and its former location; a statement under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification; your name, address and telephone number; consent to the US federal district court for the district where your address is located, or, if outside the US, a district where the service provider may be found; and acceptance of service of process from the claimant or their agent.
Counter-notice handling
A counter-notice can disclose your identity and contact information to the claimant and can have legal consequences. Obtain legal advice if unsure. Where the statutory DMCA process applies, its forwarding, restoration and litigation rules apply, including the 10–14 business-day restoration window following receipt of a compliant counter-notice unless notice of a qualifying court action is received. This is not a promise that every complaint qualifies for that procedure.
Scope of this contact
The address below is Cinevex’s copyright-contact channel. This page does not assert that Cinevex has registered a designated agent or qualifies for a US DMCA safe harbour. A copyright policy alone does not establish that protection. Other countries’ copyright laws may also apply. Knowingly false notices or counter-notices may have legal consequences.
Contact Cinevex
Include the relevant Cinevex URL and enough detail to investigate. Do not send passwords, payment details or identification documents unless requested through an appropriate channel.
