What is Cinevex?
Cinevex is a movie and TV discovery, decision and streaming-guide service from Blezolad. Browse titles, build a shortlist, compare known facts and explore where a title is listed in your viewing country. A catalogue entry does not mean Cinevex owns the film or can play it.
Is Cinevex free?
Browsing and the current Cinevex account features are free. A streaming service may separately require a subscription, rental or purchase. Cinevex does not collect those provider payments. Advertising spaces are labelled; seeing a space does not mean an ad has loaded.
Can I watch or download every title here?
No. Many titles link to external services or a watch guide. Where an authorised player or download is offered, availability depends on the source and its permissions. A YouTube or Internet Archive listing alone is not proof that a work is licensed or public domain in your country. Do not bypass provider restrictions.
How accurate is “where to watch”?
Listings use TMDB watch-provider data powered by JustWatch and, where marked, separately reviewed sources. Select the country where you will watch. Offers can differ by plan, season, episode and date. Check the source, check date and provider before paying. Missing data means unknown, not unavailable everywhere. A provider-search link is not a verified title link.
How do recommendations and AI work?
Discovery uses catalogue metadata, your chosen filters and, when enabled, saved preferences and feedback. Natural-language requests may be interpreted by Google Gemini when configured, with a simpler local fallback. AI can misunderstand requests. Review the filters and explanations; recommendations are suggestions, not guarantees.
Is “Before you watch” a parental rating?
No. It can contain editorial and community reports with gaps or disagreements. A family genre label is not an age classification or a guarantee that a film suits a child. Consult the provider and your country’s classification information. Spoiler controls reduce exposure but cannot guarantee a spoiler-free experience.
What happens when I share a list or choose together?
Lists are private until you explicitly publish them. Anyone with a public-list link can view its published content and copy it. Group-room members can see the names, choices and votes the room displays. Share links only with intended people. You can make a list private again; copies made outside Cinevex cannot be recalled.
Will Cinevex send WhatsApp messages?
WhatsApp is not enabled yet. One-time email availability alerts use a separate request, explicit consent, email confirmation and a country choice. Requests expire after 90 days and can be cancelled using the link in the confirmation email. A provider listing is not a playback guarantee. Transactional account emails are separate from optional discovery alerts.
Can I install Cinevex on my phone?
On a supported browser, use its install or Add to Home Screen option. The installed web app still needs internet for accounts, fresh listings and provider playback. It does not download a film catalogue for offline viewing.
How do I control my data?
Profile includes account settings, a data export and account deletion. My Cinevex includes discovery preferences and saved items. Cookie choices can be reopened from the footer or Privacy Policy. Contact us if you cannot access your account or need help with a privacy request.
Can filmmakers submit work?
Where submission tools are available, send only material you own or are authorised to supply. Submission does not automatically create a licensing, payment, hosting or revenue-share agreement. Distribution rights and any commercial terms need a separate agreement.
How do I report an error or copyright concern?
Use the availability-report control for incorrect offers, or the contact link below for support. Copyright owners and authorised representatives should follow the Copyright & DMCA page and identify the exact Cinevex URL.
